Storing childs artwork

Take a picture of them holding it when they bring it home- that way you'll know what age they were when they produced the masterpiece too!:D
Then send it off for recycling, or into the little folder in the book cupboard if it's really special!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I only have one child so it is easier for me but I keep everything and couldn't bear to throw anything out as I agree with you bestpud it would be like throwing away a part of my son:o.
I have a plastic wallet for all his artwork he does at home and I write the date on the back of each one, then I have a box with all his nursery work in and another plastic wallet with his school stuff in, he is only in primary 1 but I plan to have a folder for each primary I haven't thought yet where I will store them but will need to decide soon. One wall of my kitchen is also reserved for ds's most recent artwork.
Does anyone else feel sad that their child(s) creations on magnadoodle etc cannot be kept, or am I just showing how sad I really am? I probably shouldn't admit it but I have taken photos of some of these.
 Another problem I have is throwing away ds's old clothes . 0 . 0

I have some of those big cheap scrap books and have stuck loads of the masterpieces in there (the big pictures get folded and glued on one side, so they fold out nicely but are still attached to the book)
much smaller and tidyer than drawers and boxes of paperwork....
i have to admit ive let it slide lately (as in.... im a few years behind! lol)
but if you keep up with it, its a great way of keeping the pics,0
