easyjets prices

Can anyone tell me why easyjet's prices are different dependant on the amount of passengers travelling?(i.e cheaper if your an adult travelling aloan) Because they can’t!

    My understanding is that they have set numbers @ each price eg 5 x £10, 5 x £20 etc so if there is only 1 seat left at £10 it will let you book that fine but if you need 2 then it will be 2 @ £20 rather than 1 @ £10 and 1 @ £20.

    In that case, I may try booking separately Eg. one ticket for me and my child, one for my husband and see if it makes a difference to the price.

    I just suggest that try booking just one ticket and compare that price with the price of all the group
    I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T

    What happens if there are only 2 fares left, you buy them and then find that your wife/husband can't get on that flight at all?

    It doesn't work like that. All that will happen is that the some flights will be cheaper and some more expensive, or as ejones999 suggests, if someone books the remaining flights, you'll be left with insufficient flights and non refundable bookings.
