Its always wise to have at least 1 backup current account, just in case of problems.

I guess the pay in can come from anywhere (check T&C) so it may just mean a standing order from one current account to another.
Ah sorry, what I actually meant was my income to be split to feed both accounts, I receive money each month from different sources so it wouldnt involve payroll.
