having to keep logging in user name/password

Sorry for a probably silly post.

Everytime I go to start a new thread or post a reply I keep having to re-enter my user name and password. Is this normal or am I (probably) doing something wrong ?

Are you remembering to tick the remember me box next to where you log in?

could be a cookie problem. Either a corrupt cookie or you've got something blocking cookies.

Yes I have ticked that box but still seems to do it although not every time!!!
I am not very good with these new fandangled contraptions!

Anyone recommend a good computer beginners guide / book. Was thinking along the lines of dummies guide to... Any good?
