Broken Leg what can I claim?

Just trying to short cut thru government bureaucracy and see if anyone can put me on the right track. Broke my leg at work (long story but not my employers fault or negligence) just before Xmas. Have claimed statutory sick pay off my employer but was wondering is there anything else I can claim. Our circumstances are partner works, we have our own ever so humble abode, no debts or dependants and we are both in our 50,s. Worked all my life so not familiar with the working of the government machine, and feel I have put plenty in, in about 6 months will start to put more back in to the system, so if I am entitled to some i would like it all!!!!!!
Thanks for any input

When your SSP stops, if you are still off sick and have paid enough NI you will be able to claim Incapacity Benefit. This is non-means tested so it won't matter how much your partner earns.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0
