Card Payment Abroad

Hi guys,

It might be a daft question but just checking as I'm unsure. I am planning to use my credit card to pay for some application registration abroad. Which one would be best for it's purpose my post office card or egg money cash back card? Both been set up for full payment each month.

cheers

  • Post Office card, definitely. There is no loading of the exchange rate, so that it will be cheaper for you once converted to Sterling.

That was my initial thought as well but wasn't 100% certain. I should have use my PO card to purchase online in US websites as I keep using my Egg money card for that purpose increasing my cashback. I mainly use my PO card when I'm holidaying abroad. Anyway, a good lesson to learn.

    cheers
