eco friendly dog poo bags?

Decided to be a bit more ecofriendly, and i'm looking for a cheap source of biodegradeable bags. (Can't be doing with those cardboard thingies)
Problem is the cheapest I've found on line are £7 plus delivery for 100  , and I'm used to paying £1 for the cheapo poundland nappy sacks. Any one know of anywhere cheaper, or any practical suggestions for alternatives?
Thanks

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

check with your local council - ours gives them out free
or use degradeable sandwich bags? not sure of the price though
or try picking up nature babycare nappy bags I think they're about £1.50 for 500 -
pets at home 2 packs of 30 for a fiver, they are excellent quality and biodegradable0

Goodness Direct - £2.28 plus postage for 50.0

Stumbled upon these guys, www.dgrade.co.uk - 250 biodegradable bags for £8.99 - includes free delivery too. I used to get the bags from pets at home as mentioned above, i was paying £5 for 2 packs of 50 bags but found that they only lasted a couple of weeks.0

This company might be useful http://www.envirobag.co.uk/acatalog/Pet_Waste_Disposal_Products.html
They charge £31.66 for 1000 bags with delivey costs so would work out £3.17 for 100 to make it easier to compare.0 -
These things are starting to get expensive from PAH these days so thanks for your replies!!0

I save all the plastic envelopes that come in the post comes in for empting my cats litter tray, not sure if they'd be strong enough for poopa bags, I know they're not bio-degradable but it does mean they get a second use.0
