Comet Help Refund

Could any please help ??
I got a new PC from Comet on Monday 21-01-08.
and it does not work properly the Harddrive seems broke.
i rang the shop whom refused a refund as they said it was a warranty issues.
but i remember that it was there responsibility. as the goods are only 6 days old and fault reported three days ago.
i want to go to the shop tomorrow and get a full refund but the manager was rude and said there will be not point.
could any one give me a little pointer to get a full refund.
