landrover --- arrgh bad customer care

Options
I've not seen my car for 7 weeks now,
its a 1 year old landrover, the gearbox broke on 22may, (10,000 miles on clock)
Landrover are being seriously unhelpful, they've promised my replacement gearbox will be delivered to the dealership who's holding the car 3 times
....guess what its never turned up
I drive a seven seater as I need a big car, i also tow a trailer every weekend & at least once during the week
guess what , they offered me a ford focus as a replacement-
so we've had 2 children to a seat belt & ruined weekends for the last few weekends ,
I've just been told if the dealer cant get one of a few gear boxes that arrive
on friday ( and guess what there arnt enough to go round, my car could be off the road several more weeks)
ok.... besides being very upset about the whole escapeade, what would you do... revenge... or publically shame landrover....ideas please (legal tho')
thanks

Is the trailer a horsebox by any chance?

Covering it with a sheet and Writing on it something like "MY LANDROVER HAS BEEN IN THIS GARAGE FOR 7 WEEKS. THEY CAN'T GET THE PARTS"

    Or something similar.

Then driving up and down the road outside on a busy Saturday, having first informed local papers and telly people could be interesting.

I seem to remember a farmer from round here doing something similar with a tractor and trailer a few years ago. It caused acute embarrassment for the dealership concerned. I've a feeling that was a Land Rover too.

If you are unable to tow the trailer, then just do it up with the sheet and leave it somewhere busy. Or email them a picture of it, and threaten to do the above.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

    good one,
unfortunatley the trailers stuck on the drive , it is very large horsbox size,
but i do like the idea, might even do so in the rear window when i finally get the car back, I am trying to sue, might pay for shut up value

We have dealt with two land rover dealers over the last three years, one Lakeland, i would never touch with a barge pole again, twice the have cocked servicing, advising me nothing wrong when i collected the car but then sending me a bill. and the also missed items of our service.

We have also used Kentdale, who have been superb. always lending us a similar car as our, regardless of how long it has been out of action, it blew a head gasket and we had a loan car for three weeks.

I don't rate land rover themselves and will not be buying a new one, will be going else where.
