I'm a contractor (ie director of company but employed by it, and then working away from home on client premises) but no car insurer seems to think such people exist. Should I say I'm employed or self-employed?
Also if I have more than one contract during the year in different towns, that means I would be keeping the car at different addresses depending on where I was staying. Would I in theory need to tell the insurer each time I change where the car is kept (and thus incur a amendment fee each time?)
Thanks

Would you be better off with a commercial motor policy? Gives a great deal more flexibility and covers the vehicle for business use as well, whereas you have to specify that with a normal motor policy.0
