Van Insurance

Hi

We need to renew our van insurance and we are with Commercial Vehicle Direct. The renewal price is £278.16. I went on to !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the cheapest was Performance Direct at £187. 60. I have never heard of them, has anyone got any information about them, good or bad, to help me make a decision.

Thanks
Jackie

did you go with them, I too had a high quote from cvd - any suggestions who else to try? Thanks
  • Hi Karena

I used a comparison site and found yes insurance was cheaper. It came out at £227. 00 and then I went through quidco to get £65 cash back, so it was about £160. 00 at the end of the day. It is still with NIG, which is what it was through with CVD, so should be OK.

The cash back hasn't been validated yet so I may not get it but it's still cheaper than CVD.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for that, got a very competitive quote - now I have to get back to his present insurers who of course have got his proof of no claims wrong, so hopefully they will amend that by a year and I can get a better quote from Yes! What is their customer care like?
  • I've never used them before but they sent the paperwork and everything was in order and at the price quoted. So far so good.
