Well - it was me. But it was no big deal, honestly. I have a 2 year old son, and had been meaning to clear out clothes he's grown out of for ages, but as I'm sure we all know, meaning to do something and actually getting round to it aren't always the same thing!

So it was a useful de-cluttering measure for me, and it's great that the OP can get use out of them, as my son grew so fast he didn't wear the clothes out.

    Thats MSE ;)

that's right - people here may not have much in the way of money, but often help out where they can.

It is part of what makes MSE so special - a real community xx

I think that is a lesson in generosity to us all. It is easy to be kind to friends but how few of us will do it for a stranger. I am now going to dig into cupboards for some of my things to hand on whether to a charity shop, people I know or Freecycle.

Its restored my faith in human nature to hear this, ive been on another thread where some people have made unkind comments about mse users helping out other mse users less fortunate than themselves.Well done!
    You are an absoloute :A
  • That's brilliant to hear; helping each other with advice is one thing for an online community but with real practical help it's another entirely; I feel honoured to be a part of MSE now

I've passed all my baby stuff onto friends, famly and freecyclers too. These little people are expensive enough, and we need all the help we can get.

I've also had a fair few things passed my way now ds is a bit older.

Yay for neverdespairgirl too, for helping out, and thank you to butterflylady for the thank you post. I think sometimes we lose sight of what is really important in life, and this thread is a good reminder.
