Thank You Soo Much

I'm not sure this is in the correct place, but could the mods please leave this as long as possible so that the person concerns sees it.

I recently posted here about having no money and struggling to buy clothes for my baby. Well a very kind member, who I would love to name but am not sure whether she would like it. Sent me the biggest box of gorgeous clothes and baby food. :j :j :j

The member in question refused my offer to pay for the P&P and did everything out of the goodness of her heart.

The act of genourosity (SP) has left me in tears and my family in amazment. I think until this my mum thought I was a bit sad coming on to these sites. But not now, I have had to write down the address for her!!

So THANK YOU AGAIN to this wonderful person.

And to all the other lovely people on the forums, this site really has renewed my faith in human nature!!!!

Wow, what a great user/person they are. I think it's great that (some) people are still kind enough and have suitable values to do things like this. I love it, well done ot that user.

P.s. if the user who performed this kind gesture has any other clothes in a men's medium then please forward them on! :p

What a lovely thing they did for you. MSE is such a great place isn't it!!!
  • Well I have just had a message from the lady in question, I don't know if she has seen this. But she informs me that she has additional baby clothes that she will send on next week.

Once again I am totally overwhelmed (sp) by the kindness of a stranger!!!

I think this person has moved into "friend" status for you!

Also, I think you should PM her saying you're going to announce who it was in this thread, and if she says no, then fine, but I agree with PandaPants, he/she does deserve some recognition.

  • Well - it was me. But it was no big deal, honestly. I have a 2 year old son, and had been meaning to clear out clothes he's grown out of for ages, but as I'm sure we all know, meaning to do something and actually getting round to it aren't always the same thing!

So it was a useful de-cluttering measure for me, and it's great that the OP can get use out of them, as my son grew so fast he didn't wear the clothes out.

That was a lovely thing for you to do and as you can see the OP will make good use out of them and is very grateful..
