Using Tesco Clubcard Points towards summer holiday?

Has anyone any experience of using their clubcard points towards a summer holiday? I have around £450 worth of deals saved up, but I was wondering if actually it is worth spending them on a holiday - a nice 4* hotel, in the med for a week.

Are you still entitled to free kids places and other offers from the holiday company?

Anyone any experience - positive or negative?

I used them a year ago for a 5 night break in Paris. I got all the same offers as if I were paying cash. i.e. free extra night etc. They even let me use the vouchers to get the train fare added to London. Worked out great, used £135 worth of tesco vouchers for 5 nights in paris, train and metro tickets x 2.

Would love to use them for a holiday, but the only holiday company is Cosmos for packages and you have to book flight and accommadation. I am used to doing it all my self, but if it is a bargain I will go for it.
