We have quite bad water pressure, is there anything we can do to get it better

Might just be the area you live in. Alternatively it may be the main stopcock in your house is turned down too far ... have you checked?Favours are returned ... Trust is earned

Do your neighbours suffer likewise? If so contact your water supplier. They are not legally required to provide more than "adequate" pressure, which seems to mean that it gets to all the tanks and appliances. We used to suffer before new mains were installed but moaning at them from time to time resulted in an improvement. Apparently they keep the pressure as low as possible in areas where there are leaks from old pipes.0
