MFI Price Loophole/Promise

Hi,

Having chosen an MFI Bathroom last year, I waited patiently for the sales and then took the plunge a couple of weeks ago after warnings of 'Last Few Days' of the sale, fairly happy with my '33% Off', thought I'd done OK. Until I saw the advert this morning for 'Extra 10% Off' at MFI.
I phoned the free sales helpline (very helpful people): 0800 023 4457 and checked and sure enough, the suite I brought had an extra 10% off. After some further thought, I remembered they do some kind of price promice and phoned the sales lime again, the very helpful person informed me that MFI guaruntee their prices for 6 months, so If they are selling it cheaper than you brought it for within 6 months, they will refund the difference.
I've never seen this publicised before, so if you've purchased ANYTHING at MFI in the last 6 months, take your invoice down and see if it is cheaper now and if you can get the difference back.
I haven't had a chance to do so myself yet, but thought I'd better post this quick as the 'Extra 10% Off ends on 30th January.

Just a quick update, I went in today and got the extra 10% off, the salesperson just refunded me the difference!
Don't know if it comes out of the salespersons comission, but he was very good about it.

Anyone else used this yet? Worth bearing in mind.

This doesn't tally with my experience. I just phoned them as we ordered a kitchen from them in September (fitted in December), and the woman said this only applied if the kitchen had not yet been delivered.

I ordered a bathroom in Sept and although individual items were cheaper the overall costs were not, so they would not give a refund for individual; items even though the sign said "product" not invoice

I ordered some office furniture which was reduced in price before the delivery date, I requested a refund before any delivery was made. Refused point blank. Had many other problems too. This is the most obnoxious company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

me too,ordered a bathroom in the sale last year and had so many problems with them actually getting the dates right to start the work,wrong bathroom etc that i cancelled and got my deposit back.
