Decent mobile traffic information service?

I'm looking for a traffic information service which is available whilst in-car, and is priced to suit the occasional user (typically once every couple of weeks). I have a TomTom device, but I'm told that the TomTom traffic service is often very late in reporting delays. I also have access to the Orange traffic service on 240, but haven't had the chance to test its accuracy.

Can anyone recommend a service which they have found to be both reliable and reasonably priced?

The radio services aren't what I'm looking for, as I didn't want to wait 20 minutes for the next bulletin.

I notice that AA Roadwatch is "minimum 60p a minute" versus 49p a minute for the Orange traffic info on 240. Does anyone know how the two compare in terms of accuracy and timeliness of reports?
