Hi,
Due to a change in circumstances, I need to sell my newish car.
However it is too new to appear on all the valuation sites that I have been on.
It is a 57 plate Seat Ibiza 1.4 Formula Sport with 7K miles. Cost new £9K.
Does anyone know a website where I can get a valuation for private sale or realistic price for selling back to the dealer?
Thanks.

have a look on autotrader for similar cars. Deduct at least 1k dealer mark up to get an idea of trade in price.2009 wins: Signed Saxon CD, Solar Torch, Drumsticks, Priest Feast Tix, Watch, Hammerfest tix :beer:0

Parkers Guide doesn't show 57 model - so I've copied the newest they have
It should give you an idea - there's loads more info too at: www.parkers.co.uk/

I have a look at your suggestions before heading to the dealer where I got it from to see what they have to say for themselves.
Thanks again.Today is the first day of the rest of your life0 -

whatcar give prices on used cars.
Thanks I tried that but not as new mine.
I went to the dealer and even his book didn't give accurate prices, although he did give me a price.
However that means off to autotrader for a couple of weeks or so.Today is the first day of the rest of your life0 -
2007 or 2008 assuming 2007 due to miles
New price 9K is that price paid or list price? What was the list price?
petrol diesel - assuming petrol as my source says only petrol

any extras from the standard?
delivery service?
Any other service?
I couldn't get you a price, but you might want to consider BCA auctions or other local auctions, to get rid of your car for a good price, You should achieve a better price, less the fees. (couple of hundred quid).
Phone up your nearest BCA venue (Glasgow/Edinburgh)
0141 770 9661
0131 333 2151
and ask for sales, then ask them to phone you back with an estimate of howmuch it will sell for and the fees involved.
What I did find was on wisebuyers
ibiza 3dr sport (styling pk) adjusted for 7000 miles
New £9,800
retail £7750
good £7170
avg £6500
Trd £6640
If this is your car I would expect the auction to go to between £6,600 - £7,000
How much did the dealer offer you?0 -
How much did the dealer offer you?
Thanks for information.
Dealer offered me £6,500. It's been on Autotrader for a couple of weeks but not had a single call.
Just weighing up the options at the moment as the longer I keep it the more it costs me to own it.Today is the first day of the rest of your life0 -
I would take the dealers offer if you need to sell it before the new 08 plate comes out, they may drop the price further when that happens.0

The dealers offer isn't bad, all things considered.
Drop the price by £500 you have nothing to lose,
I think cars in Scotland suffer a bit because the buyers in the South don't want to go there, and there are more buyers in the South.
Also dunno about the costs of using auto trader, but a couple more pics would be good, boot interior, your external shots could be better in terms of lighting and position of car, do it on a sunny day with no clutter in the background.
I'd also personally have the car travelling from left to right on the picture with the front drivers side alloy wheel in a good light, something like this
