Solo card rules

Hi, my 17 yr old son has an HSBC solo card. Since October he has been making regular purchases from a local Budgens. For some reason these transactions were not debited from his account, now suddenly they have all come through on one day (about £260 worth) and made him overdrawn. He spoke to the bank who have said they won't charge him for the overdraft but still something doesn't seem right. Does anyone have any views or advice BR Khalil

Yes they can do this basically they have 6 months to request the money after your son pinned his life away! I know I have been caught a few times but it makes one aware to watch the pennies.
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!
