Hi.
I a having problems booking flights on the BA website due to technical difficulties and will have to book by phone. They will charge me an extra £15 for the priviledge and it is not even my fault. Has this ever happened to anyone else and they have got the £15 refunded?
regards

Not happened to me, but I doubt you'll have much luck getting it refunded.
BA have some deals/voucher options (e.g. Amex 2 for 1), that you cannot do on-line - yet they still charge £15 per ticket. Personally, I'd keep trying on-line if that is an option?0 -
For some reason BA are very strict on this. All non online bookings have a £15 admin charge regardless. Studpid policy, yes, however it would take an extrememly brave person to make them budge on this.
Have you tried booking via some like Expedia, Travelocity, etc?"An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
I wanted to use my BA miles as cheapest and most direct way so could not use other sites. They have given me the customer relations address so shall write to them. It turned out the admin charge is £15 per ticket - not per booking! So is £60. Still think it is unfair. I shall let you know if they refund it.0

Exactly the same happened to me; they wouldn't budge when I phoned them up when their site was down. You wouldn't have lost anything by waiting because no one else could have booked online either.0

You would think they would waive it at least for executive club members.
How long has the charge been in place? as I was never charged it last August and neither a CC fee.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0
