Plastering quote estimate

All,
I'm just after a rough estimate for the cost of plastering a 4 bed detatched house following a complete re-wire.
The plaster for most walls is sound so just patching up needed for where the 2" chasing has been done and around the sockets/switches, this being virtually every wall.
3 or 4 ceilings will definitely need to be boarded and skimmed.
Thanks,
Jake

My plasterer skims a wall for approx £50 ( say a 4m wall) I have had my whole ground floor ceilings boarded and plastered, each room approx £180 -£250.

Hi I am a plastering contractor and without seeing it all i can do is tell you that on sites i charge £15 a square metre board and skim that includes materials! The patching you should be looking at £150 a day for a good plasterer! Watch out there are a lot of DIY plasterers out there believe me i know! Time served is what you want not 2week training course0

For ther re-wire as there will be bonding and skim to do it 2 days at £120 a day we got charged but we had a few full walls done at the same time.
Just out on interest how much was the rewire cost ?0 -
The rewire cost for labour only was £2,000 cash. I did all the chasing out and supplied all the materials (fuse board/cabling/coax/shielding/boxes/silver fittings/down lights/fans/smoke detectors etc) the cost of which will amount to around £1,000 once the 2nd fix is complete. So all in it will be about £3,000. The house is a fairly large 4 bed detatched.0

Depending on where in the country you live jake, the average price on a day rate for a plasterer is between £150-£175.0
