I haven't been able to see this either at https://www.smile.co.uk or elsewhere doing a search, but in an ad in today's [5th July] Guardian smile are offering £25 if you open an account with them before 31st July and make one credit of £1000 before 31st October they will subsequently credit your account with £25. [Offer only applies to new - first time - smile account customers.]
[So to you satisfied smile customers - who have been recommending this account for ages - get up and complain that you should be offered a referral incentive too - for all the loyaltly you've shown!]
Opps, it looks like you have! - see below

Response from smile to request for more details....You'll be receiving an e-mail about our fantastic new offer. It should be with you over the next 2 weeks.
If you recommend a friend and their application is successful and they pay their salary of £1000.00 or more into the account you'll receive £25.00, you can recommend up to 3 friends maximum and earn a cool £75.00.
Thanks
..clearly something for existing cutomers also, therefore.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -

There was an advert on the back of this week big issue with £25 incentive.
Can not remember the terms, if you had to salary fund the account or just pay a grand in.0
