Advice on cheapest way to purchase rail tickets from Coventry to B'ham daily? Mon-Fri. Any advice greatly appreciated. Regards omnipeta.

Trains between the two are fairly inexpensive even if you just turn up at the station.
If you can travel out after the morning peak time (I think after 9.30, not sure) then a Cheap Day Return ticket is £3.90. This allows you to use any of the train companies operating between the two (there are three, Virgin, Silverlink and Central). Just had a quick look online for random dates and the tickets do show at £3.90 (which was the price I paid just turning up at the station last time.)0 -
A weekly peak ticket is £17. 4 weeks £58.50 - so a bit of a saving there
A peak hour day return is £6
Off-peak day return is £3.90, as already stated0
