I need a current account with switch/meastro or a solo card. Am currently with lloyds which has electron.
What is the best bank that offers this card? Is their C/A better than lloyds standard classic account (student here so low income) because I may decide to change

HSBC / First Direct offer current accounts with Meastro. HSBC have a student account."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

HSBC will issue a maestro card once you have payed £500+ into the account. If you won't pay that much in or your monthly income is quite low then they will give you a solo card.0

Natwest
Student account - 'A Servicecard with Maestro (or a Cashcard with Solo)'0 -
Of the big 4 banks, Lloyds and Barclays use Visa Debit or Electron and HSBC and NatWest/RBS use Maestro/Solo.
