Post Office Christmas Savings Scheme

The BBC interviewed the Marketing chap at the Post Office in November who, if I' m reading the transcript of Moneybox correctly, guaranteed that if you had £300 saved by November 2008 you would be given £100 in vouchers but there's no mention of this in the leaflet I picked up or on their website. Can anyone shine any light on this?

I did read that some time ago and didn't believe it then. It's much better (less than a year) than a 30% return .. so something isn't right somewhere. Either the vouchers will be at high price outlets .. such as catalogues .. or something's been lost in the telling.

Nothing I can see on the PO website yet - but this is the original BBC link :-

... the 'significant benefits' still seem a bit mysterious?
