OK I have 2k spare to use. These are my options...
I could put it in my S&S ISA - but would like a low risk fund - cash or bond type maybe, any tips for ones to look at? I am not sure if now is a good time to buy into any funds though.
Put in my HISAVE account for a few months - then stick it straight into the 08 Cash ISA.
Add to my ZOPA offer.
I have a good idea what I will do, but would like to get the opinions of some people here first.

Fixed interest funds look attractive. Yields have been increasing and interest rates are on the decline. That is usually the best time to go into fixed interest.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. I cant as that would breach board rules. However, take a look at the UK Other Bonds sector and UK Fixed Interest or UK Corporate Bonds and Global Bonds.
Dont assume risk is equal in funds in the same sector as it isnt (as is the case with any sector).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Some of the free sites give you enough to get a basic idea but you do need to be able to know what the data means.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
