My television needed replacing 10 months after purchase. As the replacement was within the 12 month product guarantee period am I entitled to reclaim the £7.00 per month paid under their Whatever Happens insurance scheme for the first year which was on top of the manufacturer guarantee?

I don't see why you would be able to claim back.
I presume this "whatever" insurance also covers things like accidental damage in addition to the manufacturers warranty.
You have had use of the cover even if you haven't made a claim, so why do you think you be able to claim back the cost?
You've had the cover you paid for.0 -
Simple answer: NO
