Hello all,
I have my ING savings account linked to my Abbey Bank Account.
When I do a transfer on the ING website (i.e requesting 100 pounds to go from abbey to my ing) it currently takes 2 to 3 days to happen (which I know is normal). It appears on my ING account but then it takes 2 to 3 more days to clear on there. I'm practically sure that it never used to take this long to clear on ING, I mean I can remember having to wait 1 day but it seems to be taking longer and longer to clear.
Is anyone else having the same issue or has it always been like this ?

Hi,
from ING Terms and Conditions:
c Sometimes after we have received payments made by electronic transfer or cheque, the paying bank
may ask us to return that money (for example, if a Direct Debit payment is recalled). To take account
of this, you will not be able to withdraw these amounts paid from your account, and they will not
form part of the balance available to you, until:
three business days after the business day when we receive funds by electronic transfer; or
six business days after the business day when we receive a cheque.0 -
It's always been like that, as long as I've had an ING account (which is since they started over here!).0
