Best fixings for kitchen wall cupboards?

Hi,
I have some wall units to put up into walls which are plasterboard and then breeze block - what fixings are best for holding them up?
I am looking in Screwfix at the RediDrivas (page 40 catalogue 89) but am not sure about the difference between Nylon Redidrivas priced at £6.99 for 100, Metal Redidrivas at £9.99 and the ones just called Redidrivas at £8.93.
I did buy some of the Heavy Duty Redidrivas at £2.79 for 10, that you screw in and then the back part of them turn at an angle to 'lock' into the wall, but the two I used just snapped off instead of locking!
Or can anyone recommend any different things to use? I'm really anxious about them falling off the wall as this happened to my dad years ago and everything was smashed to bits! :rotfl:
The fixings will need maximum load ability cos they are gonna have tins and other heavy things in them.

Is the plaster board on a stud frame (timber frame) or dot and dabbed to the wall so to speak ? if its a stud frame try and locate the studs (Timbers) when you locate one the other should be equal distance apart to centre's mark them they if your lucky the same positions as the kitchen units or if the units have a recessed back you may be able to put timers in between, if its dot and dabbed if you get longer screws and plugs you could go straight through plaster board into wall would give a stronger fixing
Shows a stud wall might help ?

Hi, thanks for the links and advice - the plasterboard is dot and dabbed onto a breeze block wall - would the redi-drivas be strong enough for holding kitchen cabs or should I be thinking of using something else?
If it makes any diff the units are Ikea ones so don't have any service gaps behind and get fixed straight back to the wall.
Thanks again for any advice - I stood for about half an hour in Wickes looking at fixings earlier like a right numpty and am still no wiser now!0 -
Hi
Personally I would use long screws 2" or 2 1/2" 12 gauge and brown plugs(use with 7mm masonary bit) If you have Ikea plinth then use the piece of chip board in the pack as a batten to sit the unit on while you mark the fixing holes.
I know it might be stating the obvious but check for cables and pipes.
