When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will:

I have a day off today so instead of usual Tesco online shop, I'm off to Lidl. Have also had a good look in the cupboards first and found I actually don't need that much so could turn out to be a good week this week!
Had time to look at fridge manual and found that I have had it at too high a setting so should save me a bit on that too.
Dishwasher is now on Eco instead of Auto (15 degrees less).Just when I'm about to make ends meet, somebody moves the ends0 -
Hi everyone.
Today I took the first step - I got Virgin Media to cut my bill by over 50%. Yay!
Thanks to all the posts I read yesterday, I have got my DFW head on, and have finally started to sort things out.
Need to figure out how to put my signature in to show my DFW status.
