I have an idea, be it old fashioned here we go.
Buy a Season Ticket and go to a few away games here and there and show your loyalty to your Club wether it be Chelsea at home or Plymouth away and then when your beloved club makes a final or a game where tickets are limited you will get what you deserve
Not being funny but I believe any fan who gets a ticket through the right channels i.e the club loyalty scheme set in place deserves it and deserves to watch the final live as you have been there all season through thick and thin. Anyone who wants to pay silly prices is also welcome but not deserving. I hate fans who try buying touted tickets because they can't be bothered to go to matches any other time.
Will be a good experience for anyones first time at Wemberly it really knocks your socks off when you first walk into the stands if you do get there I hope you enjoy it :beer:0 -
Hey Glass half empty, one of my childhood memories is getting in trouble at Burnden Park shouting to my dad that Notts Forest were comming out of the dressing rooms. I was told by Mr Clough that it is Nottingham Forest not Notts Forest, I will never make that mistake again. Greatest England Manager that never was!
Anyway it isnt always the thing of buying a season ticket, I go to every home game at the Reebok and go to as many away games I can afford even in europe. I don't have a season ticket or any of the memberships, becasue working there means I don't need one. Miss Lampard wouldn't need one either as players usually get 10 comp's each for finals, this maybe more in the new stadium? I don;t think she is really in Franks bed myself or she woudnt need to consider a tout for a ticket.0 -

You know nothing about me. Its a shame you decide to make a snap decision on someone because they ask a simple question on here. I assume if I didn't support a Prem side, you might have been more helpful....This is the first time I have ever tried to get a ticket through a tout. And probably won't bother as I have heard too many horror stories. I was born round the corner from the Bridge, my whole family are Chelsea fans, we were sh*t for most of my life, so am not a glory seeker. When I lived in London, I had a season ticket and never missed a game. I have been to 2 FA Cup Finals due to my loyalty points. I went to the last FA Cup at the old Wembley and then at the Millennium Stadium. When I moved 60 miles away, I became just a member but still went to about two thirds of the games.
Due to personal circumstances, I cannot afford to go to hardly any this season, so my loyalty points won't get me a final ticket. But due to bonus at OH's work, wanted to treat ourselves but as others have said, don't want to get ripped off by a tout.
But thanks for your help anyway..appreciated..A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0 -
Blimey, I would have thought that Lou had posted a legitimate request. I mean, this is a money saving site right? People in here ask questions to save money, and we really shouldn't assume they are trying to get a cheapo just because they're mean. Some really need to save every penny they can while still enjoying going to the odd match.
Doesn't seem too outlandish to me.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
jesus... typical responses from the high and mighty amongst us..
http://www.soldouteventtickets.com/category/sports/ think this site was featured on a bbc news item about buying event tickets online recently, they act as middleman on transactions..
least think it was this lot? might be worth keeping an eye on0 -
!!!!!!! hell Lou I wasn't questioning your loyalty I was just saying as a season ticket holder of my local team I expect folk who put money into the club to get first dabs
I am not being 'orible and no need to give me your life story although I guss in this day and age you have to do that a lot now Chelsea are "massaive"
If you've been to cup finals before then fair doos but obviously this season you haven't been as 'loyal' as you have been known to be so as I say I fully expect the people that plough money in week in week out to get their tickets first. Problem is unless you know someone who pulls out you will be facing a massive supply and demand problem yes? Problem being supply isn't anywhere near the amount of demand for these cup final tickets so cant see you getting them cheap. Circumstances may change and you losing your loyal status but unless you get the games in it will be difficult for anyone to get tickets without paying the earth.
Good luck though and I hope it is worth it as I hate Spurs so good luck and hope you stuff em :cool:0 -

i'm a btcc fan, i work weekends cos i have to in my job and i live in the north west, what i see of my chosen sport is limited as to what itv broadcasts on freeview, there are some that will say i am less loyal cos i can't go to every race (at god only knows what a weekend ticket, often miles away- majority of races are down south and some are in scotland) and heaven forbid i haven't got a setanta subscription for full live coverage of qualifying (cos setanta are crap), i don't care though but some would use that to prove my apparent disloyaltythings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back thenMercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok
