sun holiday wanted for dad and 17yr old daughter

I hope to take my 17yr old daughter on holiday this year and wondered if anyone can find me any cheap deals.

We have to go on 14th July for 7 days (no flexibilty due to work commitments)

We can fly from any yorkshire, nottingham, midlands or north west airports.

We are looking for anywhere and will consider all inclusive or self catering.

Here comes the difficult bit, my budget inclusive of spending money is in the region of £800 max.

I would appreciate any help in finding anything please.

Are you wanting 2 seperate rooms or a twin,as i know when i was 17 (many years ago lol) i would not of wanted to share a room with my dad.
2 rooms is going to increase the price of your holiday though.

Have you tried looking at booking separately, ie looking at Ryanair or Easyjet flights etc, then look for an apartment or hotel.

This year we have booked a 2 week holiday to Turkey for 2 adults and 2 children for £609 in August! We did book the flights early, last year, for £96 each and got the 2 bed apartment on travelrepublic.co.uk for £225. We will pay £70 for a private transfer (return) to the resort making a total of £679.

Start with the flights first as that will be the most expensive bit.

I've just had a look on Skyscanner, the cheapest flights to somewhere warm from East Midlands airport would be to Madrid (expensive accom) or Gerona.

2 return flights with Ryanair to Gerona, Spain on 14th July for 1 week come to £162. I just re read your post and realised your budget has to include spending money. A twin room half board at the Albir Playa Hotel near Benidorm would be £317, making a total of £479. You would still need to get a transfer.

    Maybe someone can better that?

You will need a flight into Alicante(not Gerona) for a stay in Benidorm.

  • Hi there. Find a quote and put it on the 'beat my quote' forum in 'Travel, Trips and Holidays. You should get some help finding what you need there.
