My first credit card was 8 years ago after I graduated - Nat West Visa with bonus air miles. I thought the limit of 1000 was a lot too and was worried whenever I spent more than 100 at a time on it.
How times have changed!
I still have the card, but quite a few more besides......Bank Charges Claimed: 180
Debenhams card: 600 now paid
Littlewoods: 100 now paid0 -
My 1st was a TSB Trust Card about 10 years ago starting limit was £500 went upto £5400. They used to send you a Book of Cheques (there were no charge for these initially) so used them to pay off Holidays and used to get my Dad to cash one for me when ever i was a bit short.0

My first one was also a TSB Trust Card - just over 6 years ago. Can't remember the credit limit - I applied for it soon after I turned 18.
It was only after discovering this site that I started hopping around from card to card - times up on Barclaycard soon so time to do it again.0
