Hello

I have been gathering information about Hairdresser business and i am calculating the cost of this business. I have got 8k to 10k in budget.

Please advice me regarding Taxation and other major issues which i could suffer, and i heard that there is a government taxation policy where your dont have to pay any tax for certain periods etc. please correct me if i am wrong.

Secondly do you have to get any license to run hair dress business or any thing, i do know that hairdresser should have to pass hairdresser certificate ?

Please advice me regarding that.

Hi,

To be honest not sure what you mean by 'don't pay tax for certain periods'.

However if you are starting your own business and becoming self-employed, you will need to register for tax.

Try this HMRC link and government's businesslink website for advice on starting up on your own.
