Can anyone explain this please?

I recently bought a Dell 530S pc with an ATI HD 2400 XT graphics card. This had a Vista hardware rating of 4.0.

I decided to update the graphics card drivers from the AMD website, everying installed OK but now it seems I have an HD 2400 Pro graphics card. At this point Vista wanted to re-rate my machine and subsequently gave it 3.7!

Does anyone know what't going on?

If the computer does not operate any slower, I don't see the problem of a rating which could be lower to any number of factors.

    I wouldn't worry about it :)

I just couldn't understand why updating the drivers changed my graphics card to a different model that was supposedly slower.

You should be able to get the correct upto date driver from the dell website btw :)

You should be able to roll back to the previous driver. Have you noticed any differenc ein performance though since this?
