    Also, is there any redemption penalty if you pay off either of the loans early.

    And how many years left on the loans?

    hi RAS thanx for responding, sorry did not reply earlier did not realise 2nd page!!!!!!!!! all this is new to me.

    tesco loan about 4 1/2 years
    n.rock about 3 years
    no penalty to pay early

    will see if i can put credit card on to n.rock

    any other advice welcome, thanx to everyone for making this easier to deal with. its good to know I am not alone.

    Hi Akiki,

    I'd say the DMP rout makes the most sense of the two, for the reasons people have given already.

    Having said that, it still won't necessarily all be plain sailing. Based on your figures, your outgoings will be £818.67 and your income will be £800, so you will still have to be very careful with your money to make ends meet.
