Please Help

I have web space with https://www.web-hosting.uk.com.

Currently our site is down. I have tried contacting them via phone and email and they have not responded.
I have tried pinging the FTP server and it showing request timed out- what does that mean?

Also how do I go about arranging to move my site to somewhere else? This is fairly urgent as I am in the middle of a fundraising activity and thus I am losing valuable sponsors and attendees- please help !!!!

When you ping try the following command ping -t *ftpwebserver* ignore the * and insert your webserver ftp address this will ping mulitiple times not just the standard 4. By pininging an address you can see if it is working or not if it times out it normally means that the server is not responding ie is down!

If you want a change your hosing try https://www.fasthost.co.uk they are very good and have an offer on at the moment - freee hosting for 3 months.

Contact Session9 as they offer discounts for charitys etc and events. Im sure if you email them they will give you a free hosting account if you have one of there banners on your site or something.
