Hi, just a quick question. Can i do a balance transfer from my MBNA CC to my halifax websaver. I heard it can only be transferred to a current account. Is this correct ?

  • You can do a money transfer I think, but on my card its treated as a cash transaction I think! sometimes they do offers where you can bt into your current account though!

    Not sure, have you asked?

I'd expect NO. The 'purpose' of the cash transfer into current accounts is to pay of an OD(regardless of if you have one), not to stooze. providing a Building society Roll Number like web savers have (?) instead of sort/account# might not go down so well..

Is it really that important to get your money into your web-saver four days earlier than by doing CC->Current Account->Web Saver?
