? a revamp of my savings needed?

Wow you really do have to keep on top of things with your money don't you? it seems like banks change their T&C's every hour!

So, I've been away from the ball for just 5 months, and have come to review my savings. I've DMOR (done my own research) but am getting confused with the way the comparison sites seem to work (some give details of products which others do not).

In a nutshell:

1. I have 6K in an NS&I cash ISA, with another 3K currently being built up in a halifax regular saver at 7%, this will mature at the end of March and the 3K I've saved will go into my ISA. ... IS NS&I still competative against other ISA's? (including those with intro bonuses, I'll be leaving the 9K well alone in the ISA account for a year). What is the curernt NS&I rate please?

2. I have 28K in an Alliance and Leicester Direct Saver and will lose 1 months interest if any withdrawals are made (fine by me, not intending to make any).. again is this the best place for this?

3. I have a halifax 0% purchase credit card, and I stick the equivalent of what I spend on that into Sainsbury's internet saver. Again the best deal?

I'm only looking at bank accounts at the moment, stock market and investments too volatile and scary for me to really invest in. Notice accounts not a problem, as long as not longer than 60 days. I cannot have any more regular saver accounts as they all require current accounts to be opened at the same time, and main salary to be paid in, and I'm more than happy with my halifax high interest current account.
