Halifax Repayment Cover - Recoverable?

I was sold a Halifax card when we got our current house. I was not asked about repayment cover, but if I was I would have rejected it.
Anyway I have just totalled up all the payments and they come to around 2700 - do I have any rights to claim it back?
Thankyou

Yon need to find out how it came to be on your account first; I'm thinking that there may have been a "tick box" on the application form that you filled in or sent back.
If it were added without your say so, then it is possible yes; otherwise the answer will probably be no.
Call the insurance people and inquire further. They may be able to tell you when it was added.
