Controlling access times to internet

Although I've looked around several times, I still cannot find a way of limiting the time that you can have access to the internet - I have teenage kids - nuff said.
Having BT Broadband allows free access without a password unlike the previous dial up version. I can't really disallow access to the computer (using password) while I'm not around as they need it for school and college work.
I know there are commercial packages around but I can't help thinking there must be something either in Windows XP or BT Broadband that allows some kind of control. If anyone knows a way, please enlighten me.

Hmmmmm, do you have some sort of NetNanny software installed? They may have some sort of restriction.
If that doesn't work, you could always try controlling the kids ;-)0 -
if you share the internet over a netgear network, you can control access to the internet using time controls,
software is an option"See you on the Other Side"0 -
Same with the 3Com Router/Firewall I have - I have the chance to block particular URLs too based on Time of Day. I think the Origo wired router I had before also had this functionality if you put suitably updated firmware on the router. There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
