Just to let everyone know that we got all the evidence in on the 14th of January for my husbands written appeal against losing his DLA lower care rate.
And he got a letter today to say it had been re-instated and backdated to the 28th December and paid in to the bank yesterday :j
I am so amazed that it was just 10 days. Rather than having to wait months for a oral hearing.
So don't give up.
Now that stress is over for while again.

Well done, I know what a painthose forms are. My sons claim for renewal was sent to me in December and I still have not had the time to fill them in. Your good news will spur me on to get themdone now.Competitions wins 2010

Fabwitch,
I know. It was a mad rush towards the end. And I was up to a silly time on 10th January trying to make sure it was worded correctly. So it could go off on the following day.
In the end I went enough is enough I want to go to bed. Got husband to spell check it and get it off on the next day.
I am just glad it worked as a verbal appeal would have been a nightmare getting to cardiff and back again.
Just lucky that what we had was enough to get the lowest rate care back.
All the best with filling in your forms.
