Hi, guys!
I need your help!
My friend is going to work as a mediator in money transections. It's call WebMoney. He has to buy a specific certificate and facilitate money transections every day via i-net. The number of such transections may be up to 40-50.
Has anybody worked in this area? is it safe ( becase the amount of money is rather big)? is it a real way to earn money?
Thank you a lot! Try to answer as soon as yo can!

I advised against taking part in this in the thread linked by the poster above. It looks like a scam to me, why would someone pay you 7% to move money from one place to another when they could just do a direct transfer? This link http://www.westernunion.co.uk/info/faqSecurity.asp?country=GB covers the sort of thing your friend appears to want to do under point 2, covering common consumer fraud scenarios.
I would think the scammer would pay funds into your friends account, your friend then forwards the cash on via Western Union. A few weeks later it turns out that the funds were not legitimate and the amount gets taken back out of your friend's account. He won't be able to get the money back from Western Union and is left with a big negative number on his bank statement.Fiscal drag, that's my problem. Too many people dragging on my fiscals.0 -
I believe WebMoney itself is a perfectly legal money transfer company, just like pay-pal. However, there seem to a number of scams that use this service to launder money. One such example is on the BankSafeOnline website (see the "February 2005 - "We have a perspective job for you! - Labian Corp"" example just over half way down the page.0

i mean transactions ( mistyped) and money transfer system as itself:-)0

Thank you a lot!! my task is to find out whether it's a scam or not. I'd rather not get involved in such things. Anyway, need to find some info in the i-net. But i appreciate person's point of view a lot and his experience0

Hi all and KatKat!
Just a thought about Forex - it's approved scheme and it will work indeed. If it's not such a game, so what is it? Your friend didn't tell what company is he concerned with? Simply I haven't heard about making earnings on WebMoney transactions up to now.0 -
:-) my friend tried and what he's got. FIrst of all he sent his CV via i-net to the top manager. Within 40 minutes he got the reply that he was just what the needed:-) Then they told him that the licence to buy costed not 7$ ( as they stated before) but a little bit more. After that they wanted him to buy a special programme and attend special i-net courses to learn how to use it. That was mandatory. The thing is that my friend already new how to manage it. AS a result it appeared to be a pure scam.0

Hi dear KatKat!
Too many oddities happened to your unhappy friend. My advice is not to get in touch with such companies. It was an evident scam! And your friend acted correctly if he forgot the adress of this manager. FOREX would be better! :rolleyes:0
