Any landlords in the Muswell Hill area with a 2 bed flat to let?

I am desperately looking for a 2 bed flat in the Muswell Hill area to move into with my family. Have phoned all the flats advertised on findaproperty.com, Primelocation.com, Gumtree etc that are in our budget but the few they have are all gone :(

If there are any landlords on here who happen to have such a flat in the Muswell Hill (N10) area, please let me know!!!

  • Are you registered with local letting agents? Scouring the ads in the local paper and noticeboards?

My experience is that once you see an advert on the websites, they've already gone! Not that the agents put them up there afterwards, but that they've had enquiries before the website's been updated.

Yes, I am finding I am calling them up and the properties have gone, sometimes weeks ago but are still being advertised on the various websites. It is very frustrating. I am living in another area at the moment which doesn't really advertise for MH, so it is quite hard to find properties there except online. I am desperate to move though as I hate where I am living at the moment. :(

  • I don't know your circumstances so apologies, but do you have to live in Muswell Hill? There are plenty of other places in the surrounding areas that might be worth a try - eg, East Finchley, Crouch End, Lower Highgate (the bit around the A1 near Archway) etc. There always seem to be loads of flats on Rightmove in these areas.
