Recently I have noticed that my internet explorer cuts off frequently.
I have windows XP and Internet Explorer.
For example, when I am surfing the NET, or visiting a site, including MSE, the IInternet Explorer goes off [the IE pages close down]. It does not seem to affect Outlook express.
I just have to click IE agin.
It happens quite frequently.
Any suggestions? help?
Thanks1

IE's crashing, it's nothing to do with the way the OP is connected to the net. It's a software problem.
IE is a pile of crap anyway, so I'd suggest not bothering to fix it, and just starting to use firefox or opera instead. If other apps are ok like you say (OE etc - although I'd advise you to get shot of it too) then it's a problem specific to IE.
I agree with penrhyn though, give your pc a thorough going over with a virus scanner and spyware scanners (or multiple ones). ESPECIALLY if you've been using OE and IE, because they're pretty bad, exploit-wise.They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
