    what is going on!!!

i expected 3 clubcard mailings, one for each of my 3 online accounts, expected 17 quid in vouchers for one and zero on the other 2.

i got 2 through today, one for 10 and one for 2, but neither of the clubcard numbers match any of my clubcards, what on earth is going on!

    anyone else come across this

ive been online to double check my account no's against the ones listed on my mailings and they dont match, also all the clubcarc points balances online currently show 'unable to show balance at present' !!!

caffenero - they have changed the clubcard numbers now they have issued those new ones. That might be why they dont' match up number wise - not sure about the amounts on them though.
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

I am so fed up with Tesco's poor customer service!

Whenever I order milk, I put in the comments box which use-by date I need (usually a week as it's my weekly shop!). I buy organic milk but I know this is not always available so I add a note to replace with any milk in order to give a long useby date.

Nearly every week now they have been delivering 16 pints of milk all going out of date within 2-3 days! I always e-mail to say I'm not happy, and they do refund it, but I am getting fed up with the same reply every week that they will mention it to the store manager etc etc:eek:

Yesterday, again I got 16 pints of milk all expiring in 3 days. Again, I e-mailed to point this out, and my reply today was :

"I'm very sorry you were disappointed on this occasion. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about this.

I cannot refund for the milk with 3 days and cannot offer compensation to you.

Please accept my apologies for any disappointment this may cause."

    That's fine then Mr Tesco - goodbye!!
  • Does anyone know what happens in the following situation online: if you enter a code for, say £5 off a £50 shop, and you have £50 worth of things in your basket when you check out, what happens if you then go back another time and change your order and, say knock the bill down to £40 - do you still get the £5 off?
  • If you reduce your basket to £40 and it was originally a code for £5 off £50 shop the voucher will be banked?! usually as you haven't spent enough.:o You can easilly test this yourself by adding some expensive items eg spirits, then going to checkout, add code, remove spirits and wallah! the code gets removed as well. You can bank some codes in this fashion if they work for when you do a big shop. It might be worth writing down the code that has been banked in case it gets wiped from your account the next time you access it,(this has happened a couple of times, might be out of date?) I have found most of the codes don't work on my account apart from the smaller ones which covers the cost of delivery and saves the legwork and stress of going to shop and carrying a heavy load:T also you may not have spent as much as you think as bogof and 342s don't come off at checkout so it can be quite a good deal:cool:

I did this on one occasion, and I got the discount that time. Might have gotten lucky?

Each time I place a wine order at Tesco and try to use one of the dozen or so codes I find, I end up with none of them working. Is it just me or am I doing something wrong?
I guess I would like a code for points, but none work.

please help with some advice and a code that works if possible!

We get organic milk on a weekly basis as well, but freeze it and defrost in cold water when we need it. Can't argue with ditching mr T though!
