Asda are updating thier website, hope its going to be easier to use. It might mean tesco will offer more codes now as they have been thin on the ground for a long time now

    Hey all
Just wanted to let you know that ASDA announced its new delivery charges starting 24.02.09.
On TUE and WED there are £3.50 (from £4) and increased £5.50 from £5.

waitrose charges now as follows (down part week from £5)

    :j
Starting today, the charge you pay will depend on the day of your chosen delivery slot. For both WaitroseDeliver and WaitroseEntertaining customers, Monday to Wednesday slots will now cost £3, whilst slots for the rest of the week will cost £5

Buy any 3 of the discount brand products (listed, only about 6 items) and receive an extra 50 clubcard points. Orders placed and delivered before 5th March. Will still get points if items unavailable.

Sorry, have tried to find this listed somewhere, but there are so many Tesco threads! apologies if already mentioned .

Thought it worthy of mention ... I just bought £65 worth of groceries on Tesco + £4 deliv charge. I've had trouble getting codes to work recently, so this time, I just kept entering codes, not really paying much attention to the error messages. Somehow I have managed to get two codes to work, one for £7.50 off and one for £7.00.

    A kind of BOGOF!

Together with a load of ecoupons for things that I didn't even buy, my £69.50 bill is now £51.25!

It definitely beats trudging round the aisles and filling bags at the checkout!!!
  • Just to say if you aren't happy about the deals thing, it is worth an email to Tesco.

I bought the Brie Parcels, Potatoes, Panacotta and Proseco on 12th Feb for valentines meal. The parcels were dated the 12th Feb and delivered at 4pm. Not much good for valentines day! Anyway I emailed them and they refunded me the 3.29 or whatever so for less than £6 I got the potatoes, pud and wine! The wine alone should have been 9.99. Made me feel better anyway :)

Another thing was they sent me 1 sub for their large choc cake which should have been half price. The one they sent was a finest choc cake in a new size and as it wouldn't scan they put it through as 10p!

I have always found them to be pretty good.

  • Hello, thanks for that, would you have got the email 250 points on £50 spend because you have a credit card, as I say, I've never received an email from Tesco, maybe you need a credit card with them? Just guessing.
