LOL. I wonder how many of us DFW's do have a slipping clutch? I have been meaning to get mine done for, well, months actually. But I look at this way, every month I put it off and it still works, is an extra month in the life of my new clutch when I get it! How about that for positive thinking? Well, I feel like crap, getting a stinking cold which isn't helped by battling arctic winds every day just to get Ryan to school. But Stu has brought me a medicinal whisky, which is easing the pain.
Hope everyone else is well.

Snaggles, hope your "medicinal" drink helps. Crap time of year, but we will have snowdrops and daffodils soon! I have been so cross i felt sick today, 'cos I thought I had worked out my acounts soooo well, but I added up wrong. Nasty West have bounced a cheque for kids school dinners because I would have been £2 over my limit, and straight away added £38 charges, which put me even more in red. Stay off. think what you will save in travel and snacks? I am getting pretty sick (excuse pun) of wprks sickness policy making people panic and take leave when ill. My boss has rang in last few days to say "book me off on leave" every day, cos he is ill and every one too afraid to book sick. Stupid, just stupid. I know we have to keep track and all that, but going on leave when you sick just compounds it, and if you go in, you spread it!
Recouperate and don't feel guilty! well i get lifts in all weekend anyways but i work with food and i for one wouldnt go in a cafe where someone is coughing and splittering. So that is swaying me to stay off... after all i think we need the custom!0 -
