I bought a steam mop a few days ago from their on line store and it arrived two days later - which I thought was pretty darn quick for an item bought via a television advertisement.
Unfortunately the stopper for the water tank was missing.
Since I wanted to sort this out quickly I phoned rather than using the email link.
I got an engaged tone! Yay!
I say "yay" because I am so fed up with mood music and nine level call menus.
A couple of minutes later I got through, said I had a missing part, and instead of handing me through departments (where you usually have to explain your problem over and over again) they took my number and said they'd call me back.
Again Yay!
They didn't quite manage it within the hour but they did still manage the same day, and the stopper arrived in the post this morning - again within a couple of days. Included was a compliment slip along with a hand written "Sorry about the problem".
No fuss, no argument, no stress, easy peasy
I accept that companies cannot expect to get everything right 100% of the time - it's just not possible - but what does matter is how they respond to problems, how they sort it out; and, as I say, this was quick and easy, polite, stress free... I couldn't have asked for more.
So well done itsawrap and thank you

I am
My kitchen floor has never looked so good.
And I do mean NEVER.
Not even on the day it was laid. The guys that put it down dripped bits of glue all over the place which wouldn't scrub off and an attempt to scrape them off was heading quickly towards possibly damaging the vinyl tiles. The steam mop softened them up and a plastic scraper finished the job so I'm now spot free
Given my physical limitations, doing the kitchen floor used to be a nightmare (I'm sure I've posted my all afternoon do it in bits and take a break routine somewhere) and I used to be totally pernackerated when it was done - and often couldn't move the next day.
Needless to say I used to put it off until I just couldn't stand the state of it and it just had to be done.
Now it's a piece of cake.
I also thought that my dyson made a pretty good job of keeping my carpets clean - but a run over them with the steam mop has shown a distinct improvement.
I'm really pleased with it.
I wonder how well I can manage with it on the stairs....Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. I too have this Steam Mop!! I bought it from itsawraplondon.co.uk after I bought one of their Paint Runners.
My Paint Runner was so fantastic that I went back for more and decided to try the Steam Mop... Both I now could not live without! I love anything that helps with housework and DIY without being painful!
I placed my order in the morning and actually received mine the very next day! I couldn't beleive it.
The Steam Mop took 2 days to get to me like yours and both were perfect.
I love a good and reliable website I do!
Thanks It's a wrap London!0
