Did you check your overtime, etc?
You shouldn't be paying more than 25% in tax, on overtime, unless you are earning an awful lot....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
No I forgot to bring my payslip home with me. I'm going to bring it back tomorrow and check it over and check it against my spreadsheet of OT I keep too.0

Yesterday I spent £7.89. This is coming out of food budget as it was for Nappies, milk and I needed dinner at work as I did overtime at short notice.
I got 3 rolls for 20p in tescos! I was so proud of that bargain!!
So I have spent £40.02 so far of this weeks food budget, which leaves £22.48 left til saturday.
This weekends food shopping will be higher as I need to stock up on a few things though.
Don't forget its PANCAKE DAY today!!!0 -

I have to get a prescription today so I'll need to spend £6.85 on that. Hopefully that will be all. I'm making chicken curry before I go to work to take with me for the overtime I'm doing plus making pancakes to take with me too!0

I had a result yesterday! My mum went to get my prescription for me as I was working and the pharmacist forgot to charge her!!
It's a bit dishonest but it saved me £6.85!!
Not keeping to my meal planner very well though, when I shopped for it I didn't know I'd be doing overtime all week, but I'm tring to use up storecupboard stuff rather than buying more!
I've done some packing this morning too and am about to hoover then wash up! The joys of housework! :rolleyes:0 -
